Mr Pearce has operated on one of my hips and both of my knees. I am extremely pleased how my surgery went and the after care I received. At all times Mr Pearce kept me informed of the procedure. I saw Mr Pearce recently who signed me off as he was pleased with my progress. I felt totally at ease and very confident that my operation would be successful and that I had no more pain.

I have made an excellent recovery from a Total Hip Replacement operation carried out by Mr. Simon Pearce. He listened, I found him to be attentive, and he gave me very good advice pre and post-surgery. I would not hesitate in recommending him for THR surgery. My new hip is fully mobile and I am now completely free from pain.

I had knee replacement surgery at the Horder Centre 6 weeks ago. I had a very good experience. Everything was explained to me, I felt I could ask questions and Mr Pearce treated me with humour and dignity. I can't think of anything that could have been done better.

I have had both hips replaced by Simon Pearce. In both cases I was unable to walk or sleep properly because of the pain stemming from the rapidly deteriorating hip. After the operations I was walking pain-free, without aids, within weeks and also sleeping pain free. One leg which had become twisted by arthritis in the hip was straightened in the process. The treatment, care and consideration by Simon and the whole team at the Spire were exemplary. I am grateful to them all would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

From the initial consultation to the post op appointment, he explained everything fully, gave me time to ask questions which instilled my trust and confidence.
